Craft Time!!

Stained glass butterfly wings.

Children love to dress up and run wild with their imaginations and this is the perfect craft to combine the joys of a gluing and sticking craft together with an end result of a magical butterfly outdoor adventure….

Things you will need..

Cardboard.. I used an amazon box

cellophane sheets ( I used these from amazon)

Stick glue

Marker

scissors

yarn

tape

I began by cutting out the shapes for our wings. I let the kids draw and design their own butterfly wings.

Once they finished designing their wings, I helped them cut out any shapes they had drawn.

From there we brought out the stick glue and let them go to town with glaring cellophane over all the cut outs!

Once both wings were done, we attached them together with tape. After that we cut two pieces of yarn and attached them with tape as a loop for their arms/shoulders.

They loved running round as butterflies and watching the sun create magic with their wings!
